NFC tip cards that open your tip page with one tap

An NFC tip card is a printed card with a tiny chip inside. Hold a phone near it and the tip page opens — no scanning, no typing, no app. It is the fastest path from intention to payment we have found.

  • Badges, wallet cards and table stands
  • Programmed to your page before it ships
  • QR code printed on every card as a fallback

Why teams choose Tap To Tip

Nothing for the guest to learn

Modern iPhones and Android handsets read NFC tags from the lock screen. The guest holds the phone near the card and a notification opens the page.

One card per person, or one per table

Assign a card to a named team member so the tip reaches them, or to a venue page where the guest picks a name on arrival.

Nothing sensitive on the chip

The tag stores a URL, not a payment credential. A lost card exposes nothing and can be re-pointed in seconds.

Branded to the venue

Cards, badges and stands print in your own colours and logo so they read as part of the service, not an add-on.

How it works

  1. 01

Tell us who needs a card

A list of names, or just a count for a venue that rotates staff. Each card is written to the right page before it ships.

  2. 02

    Hand them out

Badges clip to a uniform, wallet cards drop into a bill folder, stands sit on the table or the counter.

  3. 03

    Re-point them any time

Staff change. A card can be reassigned from the dashboard without reprinting anything.

How an NFC tip card works

Each card contains a passive NFC tag — a chip and an antenna with no battery. When a phone's reader energises it, the tag returns a single URL: the recipient's tip page.

iPhones from the XR onward and effectively every Android handset in circulation read tags in the background. The guest sees a notification, taps it, and the page opens in the browser.

  • No pairing, no Bluetooth, no app install
  • Works with the phone locked on iOS
  • The tag is read-only in normal use, so it can't be overwritten by accident

Form factors that actually get used

The right format depends on where the conversation with the guest happens. A badge works when staff are on the floor. A wallet card works inside a bill folder. A stand works when the guest is seated and the staff member has already left the table.

  • Badge — clipped to a uniform, tapped during the goodbye
  • Wallet card — slipped into the bill folder with the receipt
  • Table stand — sits on the table for the length of the meal
  • Counter sticker — for takeaway, valet desks and salon reception

NFC or QR — which do you need?

Both, on the same card. NFC is faster when it works, and it works on the overwhelming majority of phones in the UAE. QR is the universal fallback and the only option on a locked-down corporate handset.

Because both point at one URL, there is nothing extra to maintain: change the page and every card in the field follows.
